Hello there, stranger. It's nice to meet you! I'm Naomi, your friendly neighborhood hermit. I'm a 20-something university student majoring in Marketing. A long time ago, my childhood dream was to become a librarian which transitioned into author and ended at bookshop owner. From how my future's looking, it seems to be a bit unlikely now for me to achieve any of those but I still hold my love for books and reading close to my heart. I'm a recovering "low-attention-span" patient which is surprisingly from reading fanfiction and not TikTok. I took a very long hiatus from reading traditional books and stuck to e-literature such as fanficition and web-novels because of financial and spacial constraints which led my patience to sit down and read a book to deteriorate. I'm on the mend now and hoping that this site can help me get back into the groove of reading traditional books.

I'm proship and subscribe to the notion that if something's not to your taste the don't eat it at all. I'm a very flexible person when it comes to all manners of tropes and ships, and will likely try something before I knock it, except if it's something I already know I dislike. I'm a quiet introvert that gets loud with friends or when rambling about something that interests me, I've been told that I become a real yapper when I can talk about something that I genuinely like. I'm very shy (a side effect of social anxiety) and can never really initiate conversations but I'm up to talk sometimes, depending on how I'm feeling.
